Judge did not provide written order for planes to turn around.

It was brought up at the hearing (which the President and gang were not around for).

This is what bothers me these days. In my line of work (software analyst who often works with clients) we have a saying: if you didn't document it, then it didn't happen. We are required to document and makes notes on everything, even creating summary updates from time to time just to create more documentation.

So why is it that a Judge is allowed to simply make a verbal request (which may or may not have been properly relayed during hearing) and then not follow it up with written documentation or even written clarification. How is Donald Trump as President supposed to fully understand what was said in a hearing that they are getting second or third hand? Wouldn't it make more sense if the judge actually provided a written order so the attorneys and such can actually clarify what it being asked.

Now I am not sure why the judge or the court clerk or whoever did not put this into the written order. Was it simply because someone didn't want it to look like the order was given at the time of the written filing (leaving it only as something ordered during the hearing for purposes of saying that was the time-stamp)? I have no idea. But to try to hold a national security team accountable for a judges verbal order that was never written down for their review seems wrong headed. It not only looks sloppy, but it looks disingenuous, and possibly dishonest.

I'm guessing this was an all-female crew and they didn't know how to put the plane in reverse. Quite a challenge,
