John Fetterman joins Truth Social

While his first post was one of those false equivalencies, you have to give him credit for engaging with the right.

His first post was to suggest that both Trump and Hunter Biden cases were bullshit and that Pardons are okay. That is a bit inaccurate in that the Trump lawfare will not require any sort of pardon (and Trump cannot pardon himself in NY). It is also inaccurate to suggest that Hunter being prosecuted was "bullshit" because he did commit numerous crimes and was not really treated much differently than anyone else who breaks those same laws. On the flip side, no other President or Presidential candidate has ever been charged with he crimes that Trump has been charged with and nobody else every will. Those were specific attacks on Trump for the basic purpose of preventing a second term in the White House... fat lot of good it did them.

I have not joined Truth Social largely because of the fiasco that was Parlor... growing, shut down, reopened, bought out, closed off, reopened, etc... etc... It started out fun. I even had bigger name followers than I ever have on Twitter/X (likely because I was followed by Sean Trende, Stacy Mathews and others in that realm and was likely recommended by Parlor to people). For now I am sticking with X and generously donating $7/Month to Elon Musk who obviously needs the money more than I do.
