From standing up for the working class over businesses to controlling them, the Party of the American people is now the Party that hates American people.
It’s been said many times — and it happens to be true — that if JFK were alive today and he were espousing the ideas of his 1,000-day presidency, he would be a Republican. JFK was a staunch Cold War anti-communist/socialist. He espoused lower tax rates, was pro-life, served our country in uniform valiantly, was patriotic, was a hawk on protecting First Amendment civil liberties, and he and his brother, who served as attorney general, took on union and government corruption.
If you told the flower child of the sixties that the Democratic Party of 2023 would favor government and corporate censorship of ideas, that they would be openly prosecuting political opponents, that they would cheer and defend unarmed protesters being shot to death by police, that they would be cheering terrorists attacks on Israel, and that the biggest hot-button issues would be supporting sex change operations, fighting to allow biological males to compete with biological females, and demanding that people can make up their own pronouns and everyone has to use them.
I think they would believe they entered the twilight zone.
Occasionally you will hear something about Ronald Reagan not being like today's Republicans. But I would bet he is a hell of a lot closer to Trump than Biden is to Clinton or JFK. Ronald Reagan was a firm believer in military strength, fundamental family values, and in many ways was the most prolific supporter of supply side economics (trickle down) of any President we had. He was a free trade advocate, against universal or government healthcare, and was one of the first who floated the idea of making Social Security voluntary. He saw the climate scare (acid rain) for what it was, a hoax. He was prolife and pro-guns. The only place he differed was in supporting the legalization of undocumented workers. But then again, lots have changed in that area since the 1980s.
As someone who has been both a liberal and a conservative, I can assure that nothing about me has changed in terms of what I believe. The problem with the new Democratic Party is that there is no set of core values other than grievance, division, and hate. It seems like every young liberal today is a liberal because they feel the need to walk around stark raving mad 99% of the time. I simply do not have the time or energy to even fathom trying to work that hard to keep up with what I am supposed to be livid about today. Is it someone misgendered a pronoun? Is it the existence of Jews in the Middle East? Is it the fact that there are still gas powered cars? Some 6'8" 240 pound biological male is not being allowed to play basketball against women? All I know if that someone needs to create a daily website the tracks what liberals are angry about today, so they can all be on the same page.

I think other Arizona Republican office seekers had their elections stolen in the fraudulent election.
Banana Republic

What would JFK say?
