It's JD Vance

A controversial choice and certainly a much different choice than Mike Pence

In 2016 Trump made a politically expedient move to appease his detractors. This time he picks someone I believe he wants to work with and support in 2028. I don't know a lot about JD Vance. I probably would have preferred Doug Burgum or even the stealth pick being floated (Sarah Huckabee Sanders), but not sure it matters much anymore. He has an impressive resume for sure and could help with the great lake battleground states.

After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio. J.D. honorably served our Country in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State University in two years, Summa Cum Laude, and is a Yale Law School Graduate, where he was Editor of The Yale Law Journal, and President of the Yale Law Veterans Association. J.D.’s book, “Hillbilly Elegy,” became a Major Best Seller and Movie, as it championed the hardworking men and women of our Country. J.D. has had a very successful business career in Technology and Finance, and now, during the Campaign, will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American Workers and Farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond….

Democrats and the media are trying hard to tie Trump to the horrible Project 2025 agenda.

Read it, and you'll discover that there's little if anything 'horrible' about it.

Democrats and the media are trying hard to tie Trump to the horrible Project 2025 agenda. Why can't the Heritage Foundation just get the hell out of the way?

Earlier today, Trump called for RFK to get Secret Service protection, and a friend messaged me:

“Haha, when they do that, our crazy orange former president official becomes shadow chief executive. Making the common sense calls the Biden admin can’t quite manage.”

And later today, they did that, with Sec. Mayorkas announcing that RFK will get Secret Service protection. To which my friend comments: “Prediction: Here through Jan 20  will be the first six months of the second Trump admin.”

The dynamism is all on one side here.
