This has been an ongoing issue with Democrats for years...
As far back as I can remember Democrats love to push unpopular opinion and then demand that is is only unpopular because of how it is being messaged.
The idea that Joe Biden has been a good President is not popular opinion. I would argue that those who do believe it are simply falling for nonsense that most others reject.
They feed you a list of accomplishments that are a combination of marginally popular achievements, statistical recovery from the horrifyingly bad numbers that he has been responsible for, and a complete white-washing of things like the incompetent Afghanistan fiasco, our current involvement of two ongoing wars, the crisis at the border, overwhelming crime, and a complete failure of our educational system.
But boy of boy, his supporters will gasp about how much he has done for climate change, and transgenderism. Look how he helped passed 3 trillion in wasted stimulus money and increased the size of the Government. Those things might be popular with a few on the far left, but not popular with the masses.
Inflation has dropped from nearly double digits to under 4%. Still twice as high as it was under Trump. Look at gas prices, down from the highs of almost $7/gallon. They were under $2/gallon when he took over. GDP has not been negative for several quarters! Wow!
Some will even argue that all of Bidens actual failures would have hypothetically been worse under Trump, even though Trump was President for the four years prior and none of it happened under his watch.
Blacks and Hispanics are running away from Biden because he had failed them. Not just a little, but a lot. Things were actually getting significantly better for minorities under Trump and many saw that. Biden put Democrats back in charge and now look? The latest polling even now shows Hispanics as being very unapproving of Biden's immigration policies. When you are a Democrat who lost Hispanics over the border, well you must have worked pretty hard to accomplish that. But people like Clyburn will never see anything other than his personal duty to be Democrat because he is black. He probably couldn't really tell you why, just that it is the way it is supposed to be. He just cannot figure out why others do not see it? So it must be that Biden and Democrats need a better message. It certainly could not be that they need better policies or better leadership? Nope. That cannot be it.
That and the Russian collusion hoax / Mueller "investigation" that crippled his first 2 years and influenced the 2018 election. And a long list of others. Scott Adams has compiled a list of these hoaxes and it is something like 20 strong. They never apologize, as they know they are spreading lies from the start. It's not a "big lie", it's a bombardment of lies. and they become normalized. I think that is why so many people hate Trump. But sunlight is a disinfectant.

Saw that Rasmussen polling now has Republicans up 9 in the generic ballot. And with democrats no longer able to have a stranglehold on messaging due to "X" along with a robust independent media and a dying regime media (Washington Post now bleeding $100 million a year and cutting staff) things are going downhill for them. Scary because everyone knows how they refuse to lose their grip on power. Look what they did to Trump after he won the first time. Now they need to do something much more drastic to retain their power...
