It is now irresponsible to not fund the DHS over a liberal hissy fit.

Democrats are putting American lives at danger in order to protest illegal immigrants.

We are currently in an armed conflict with Iran. I say we, because it is not just the the United States and Israel now, but most of the Arab States have joined in hammering on Iran. We even have cooperation from most of the European countries and the NATO leadership is entirely on board with this.

Basically almost the entire world is in favor of what is happening right now in the Middle East, with the notable exceptions of Iran, China, Russia, and American Democrats. Nice company they keep with this loser of an opinion.

Many argued that the reason Democrats refused to stand when they were asked if they supported US citizens over illegal aliens, that it was more about optics and opposition than any real belief that they "actually" supported illegal aliens over Americans. But here we have the proof in the pudding so to speak. When push comes to shove, they are literally choosing illegals over American citizens.

We have a reported 1500 or so Iranian terrorists who entered our country during the open border fiasco of the Biden administration. Any of them could be planning a terror attack as we speak within our own borders. In fact, it may be the only means Iran has of harming the US during this conflict.

Currently our Department of Homeland Defense is not being funded because Democrats want to protect Illegal aliens from ICE and Border Control and are now showing a willingness to hamstring our national security to achieve this directive. Oddly, the idea that we would fund the DHS while in an armed conflict with a terror state was considered so wrong headed that Democrats referred to the idea as "ridiculous". I guess they see making Americans safe being more important than keeping illegal aliens from being arrested is "ridiculous". Not sure how else to view this.
