An MMA contest between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg?

Zuckerberg is training but is quite a bit smaller. They say he has a low level BJJ belt and has done some kickboxing. I am a big fan of training. Even a little training can make a big difference. But then again, I would guess that Musk would probably take the time to

get in a little little bit of training as well.

The bottom line is a bit of training is a big advantage over no training. Expert (as in years of training) has a big advantage over someone with just basic training. But there would be a limited advantage to someone with say a few months of training versus someone with a few weeks, especially if that person is much smaller. How limited will depend on the people in question and how serious the training is.

At the end of the day, however, this would boil down to whom can take the pressure of being in a one on one physical confrontation. Getting on a wrestling mat or putting on gloves and facing off with another person is a whole different experience than running a race or playing a game such as basketball. I can say this as someone who has done both.

What does a person do if they are punched in the face? Fight or flight? One of the most common things for someone with no boxing experience is to literally turn around and face away from the person hitting them. Much of what we do if our brain goes to flight or avoidance is the opposite of what we should do if our brain went to fight. It really could get down to a matter of toughness, a matter of personality, and a matter of being an alpha aggressive person.
