This is the second poll in a row that shows Kennedy drawing around 15% and taking just a little more from Biden than he does from Trump. While many argued that a third Party run for Kennedy would be a death blow for one candidate or the other, this splitting almost down the middle situation appears about right to me. If anything I am just a bit surprised that he is not hurting Biden a little more than he is.
But make no mistake. If Kennedy were to draw 1-2 percent more from Biden than he does from Trump that could be a huge difference maker in many purple states. One has to keep in mind that in the past two elections involving Trump that there have been six states decided by less than one percent, and two more if you include the Maine and Nebraska Electoral College splitting.
