She has never run away from the fact that she is pro-illegal immigration, she has been openly for defunding the police, and she demanded we stop using the term radical Islamic terrorist. Why are her supporters not embracing what she stands for?
News flash. If you have to redefine a candidate by deleting things from websites, having a mass media gaslight strategy, and simply demanding she isn't what she herself has said she is...
then this is not an actual good candidate?
But this is where we are at. A former Presidential candidate who dropped out without a single delegate. Literally the most unpopular Vice-President of all time according to approval polls. A well known "California liberal" who needs to win in the midwest. Suddenly this same person is the female version of Barack Obama on steroids. All based on the lies that she is not really who she actually is, but rather what the media is attempting to make her out to be? Wouldn't it be nice if the media actually did some real investigative reporting, rather than openly campaigning for the Democrats.
The biggest question here is how long can any of this last. You certainly have some new found enthusiasm on the left. You are reading lot's of headlines about how Kamala is closing the polling gap and even leading by a point or two in some polls. But ignored are the polls that still show her down considerably, like seven down in the latest Rasmussen and several others that show her down outside the margin of error. Again, the idea of many of these media commissioned polls is to show a gain for the new candidate. That could be little more than Democrats being more eager to pick up the phone than they were a week ago. Certainly the polling gains might be real, but a close race between Trump and Harris is nothing for Democrats to be excited about. They nearly lost four years ago and Biden was leading in the polls by over nine points in July of 2020.
Moreover, with all this "enthusiasm" that his out there right now, wouldn't you think she would be putting up Biden numbers or at least winning on average? Because this is the natural "bounce" phase of what we are seeing now. For every bounce that goes up, it will almost always come down, as by nature bounces are temporary. She hasn't done anything to this point to show that she is a better candidate than she was a month or so ago when she was down by margins worse than Biden was. I suspect after the initial honeymoon period is over, that she will be back to polling no better than she was a couple of weeks ago. After all, she is still Kamala Harris, who is simply not a good politician by any objective measure.
