Idiot in chief declares to the world that the USA is low on military munitions

If there was ever a time for China to invade Taiwan or other countries to take action, I guess Biden just confirmed that that time is now!

Number two, the Ukrainians are running out of ammunition, the ammunition — they used to call them 155-millimeter weapons. This is a — this is a war relating to munitions. And they’re running out of those — that ammunition. And we’re low on it.

And so what I finally did, took the recommendation of the Defense Department, to not permanently, but to allow for, in this transition period, where we get more 155 weapons, that — these shells, for Ukrainians to provide them with something that has a very low dud rate. It’s about one — I think it’s 150, which is the least likely to be blowing — and it’s not used in civilian areas.

So sure. Just tell the world that we are low on munitions. Not that anyone is likely invading our borders anytime soon, but we just declared that we are not in any position to assist anyone else in the world, and we are scrapping the bottom of the barrel to even keep assisting Ukraine.

Let's be clear about something else. Our military experts and politicians supporting this effort insisted over and over that it would be Russia that would fun out of supplies, munitions, soldiers, etc. Every time a tank got stuck in the mud or a caravan was attacked, it was considered the beginning of the end. Some of our best analysts insisted that Russia had no more than a week or so of supplies and would have to crawl back home with their tails between their legs if we could just help Ukraine hold them off for that small period of time.

Here we are, almost 17 months later and in the last Ukrainian counteroffensive the Russians were said to have outgunned the Ukrainians by 10-1 in total number of munitions. How wrong were our military experts and why should we be trusting them today?

Moreover, does Joe Biden really know exactly where these cluster bombs are going to be used? Does he really control Ukrainian military strategy. Russia is also known to have cluster bombs (as well as tactical nukes) and will likely retaliate if these bombs are used in their troops. Can Biden assure us that Russia will not use them in civilian areas? It's a pretty bold (and naïve) suggestion here to make, that nobody will use them in anyplace where it might be a danger to civilians.

Make no mistake, this is not just another reload of supplies. This is a true escalation of the conflict and will likely take casualties to an new level. It certainly feels like our President (and his advisors) are either unaware that this will escalate things or simply do not care.
