American medical community upset with Europeans who are questioning gender altering medical procedures on underage children...
Apparently America is now more socialist and liberal than Europe in some aspects and at least some people would like us to be even more so.
For years, the liberals were always touting the concept of the United States becoming more like Europe. But it says a lot about how far down the woke rabbit hole we have gotten when Europe and their medical experts are being shunned by Americans because they now prefer to listen to the science rather than their local political rhetoric.
Let's be clear folks. There is no good scientific evidence to suggest that "affirming" a confused child's gender dysphoria is a healthy thing. I could run through the various numbers for the 100th time, but that seemed redundant.
So while Europe and much of Scandinavia has taken a step back as it pertains to treating children with hormone blockers and other dangerous medications and procedures, the U.S. seems bound and determined to push more and more children into the unknown and untested idea of gender affirming care. It is one thing for an adult to make a decision to take FDA unapproved experimental treatments for their mental health issues, but it is entirely another to push this onto children.
Most recently the UK has deemed that no child under the age of 7 should even be talked to about gender issues. Even at the age of 7 the children are being encouraged to affirm their natural born sexual identity, rather than to "affirm" the feelings in question. This, of course, has been the natural order of things since the beginning of time. Nobody in my generation ever killed themselves because they wanted to be the opposite sex and were not allowed hormone blockers and sex change operations while still in grade school. This is fear mongering and political rhetoric and quite frankly I have no clue as to why this all of sudden seems to be the hill certain people are willing to die on.
