Hunter shows up then walks out of contempt hearing....

Apparently was not going to listen to Marjorie Taylor Greene

Hunter apparently was there for little reason than to flaunt the idea that nobody is going to actually hold him accountable for his stunts regarding the congressional subpoena.

As was pointed out at the hearings, the House did hold conservatives who refused to testify in contempt. Moreover we saw the Biden Justice department literally charged Steve Bannon for the exact same actions. Bannon was found guilty and sentenced to prison for his contempt. The first such criminal charge in nearly 40 years, proving that the partisanship of the Biden Justice department knows no bounds. But that puts them in a bad spot now that Hunter is so blatantly performing the same actions.

The timing of the walkout was obviously staged and I have no clue what point the Biden legal team was trying to make, other than letting everyone know that regardless of what congress decides to do, Daddy will make sure Garland and gang will do nothing.

Certainly it is well known that Joe is seething with anger over the charges laid out by David Weiss. It was always the Biden intention to let Hunter slide (thus the ridiculous plea agreement that was rejected by the judge) even on Federal felonies. Certainly they would not allow Hunter to be treated the same as Steven Bannon in this situation. Heck, I am not sure that Democrats in Congress have the integrity to even vote for the contemp. Would they so callously challenge their sitting President?
