He admits the gun charges are true, but they will not charge him for that. I guess that all this time Hunter Biden was actually a criminal and it was not a bunch of Russian disinformation and right wing smear jobs.
This was somewhat inevitable. There was no way to push this off past the election and the walls truly were crashing in. Between whistleblowers and leaks to the media, this had to happen. Sooner the better as it was going to harm Joe (and his election chances) worse the closer to the election we got.
I will have to wait to hear from legal experts exactly how "sweetheart" this deal actually is. But considering this DOJ is still trying to put people in jail for protesting too close to the capital, the idea that Hunter walks without spending a day in jail stinks to high heaven. The fact that they didn't technically charge him for the gun charge (more serious) is unexplainable really. There own policy is to always charge the most serious provable offence (they have him dead to rights) and recommend sentences that are consistent with others who committed the same crime. This plea breaks those rules.
The question now is whether or not the "big guy" decides to pardon his criminal son? Perhaps the deal was looking side-eyed at the possibility that any prison term at all would have likely triggered the pardon. This deal removes the President from the uncomfortable position of having to take the political hit of pardoning his own son or watch him rot in jail.
Lastly, will the DOJ suggest now that all things Biden are off the table and that other investigations into influence peddling, money laundering, five million dollar bribes, and $10 million dollars being funneled to Biden relatives are now all dead because Hunter plead to a couple of tax crimes?
"Credit to @JennaEllisEsq for finding this “still” on the DOJ website. Diversion would not be available to anyone similarly situated to Hunter Biden. 👇🔥 https://t.co/QHnsHiDjGp" / Twitter
"equal" justice under Biden
someone forgot to clean this up
Tucker Carlson on Twitter: "Ep. 5 As in most of the developing world, it's safer to be the president's son than his opponent. https://t.co/AtRRaxYSjs" / Twitter
The real story here. Media air cover for all the millions in bribes paid by Burisma and the Chi-coms.

: "You could see this as a significant victory for Hunter ... [They] looked into whether he was violating the law by representing foreign companies or governments. NBC News reported he was paid millions $, some $13 million from Ukrainian and Chinese business interests. At the end of the day, investigators did not find criminal wrongdoing in any of that."

Hate these people. It's all they deserve.
Tucker is going to come out with a new podcast today addressing this. Should be FIRE.
