How long before the knives come out for Harris?

Post Biden dropout polling already show her falling behind where she was a week ago

She has dropped a point in the Morning Consult poll, four points in the HarrisX Forbes. Both of those are weekly polls. SoCal Research still shows her down six (same as the last poll) and Quinnipiac (which is generally favorable to Democrats) shows her down four.

I am sure the media will push the the couple of polls that show her close, but this cannot be what the Democrats expected when they successfully pushed Biden from the race and replaced him with a "younger" Candidate. Yeah, I get it. She is not the official nominee and once she is, blah blah blah. But it seems clear that she is not much of a baseline improvement over the President if she is an improvement at all.

Also... let's face it. The Republican convention was quite good and there may be some bumping going on from that. Also some delayed bumping from the near miss assassination attempt. So some of this is just Trump gaining popularity. If he can keep himself acting half assed normal for the next three plus months, he should be in a great position to win again.
