Have the rank and file Democrats learned anything from the 2024 election?

The question was asked and answered on a thread entitled "What the ‘Year of Democracy’ Taught Us" over on Political Wire.

What the people on this thread learned was that it was racism, hatred, and stupidity that largely fueled the 2024 election loss. Moreover, these hateful stupid racists were manipulated by right-wing lies and "disinformation" pushed by oligarchs and authoritarians (which of course is code name for Trump, Musk, and others in the Trump circle). You know, those stupid billionaires tricking the dummies of the country to vote for them, so they can just manipulate everyone and make more money for themselves.

Those who do not believe it was just disinformation and manipulation, racism and bigotry, are more prone to the argument that they simply lost because of the timing of things (inflation, war, etc.) which of course had nothing to do with Biden or Democrats. In fact, many are still pushing the argument that the Trump response to Covid that actually doomed the entire Biden presidency, caused the economic harm, the inflation, and everything else. Yes, the few months that Trump was in charge of the Covid response is the reason why gas was over $5.00/gallon and eggs were $7/dozen. Go figure.

If you really want to figure out how these people think, take a stab at interacting with these liberal fanatics. But caution that you might need several Disqus accounts, as you will get blocked for anything you say that is not left of center. My current account (Truth) sees about 80% of the comments (the rest are unavailable because they have blocked me). It is my third account as my first two got so blocked that I was just seeing a fraction of the comments. Now I just generally just scan through not logged in, that way I can see everyone. If I want to engage, then I just log in and see who still has me unblocked. Probably time for a fourth account if I want to continue to engage these meatheads.
