Good news in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Supreme Court overrules lower courts and states that improperly dated mail-in ballots are illegal to count and need to be tossed out.

Good news, since in 2020 less than a half percent of mail in were disqualified and likely was a major reason why Joe Biden won 76% of the mail-in ballots. The general average of disqualified mail in ballots is generally more in the range of 3-4 percent, which had illegal ballot not been counted, probably would have given Trump that state.

The crazy thing is why this is even a question. The law states that you must date the envelope when they send it in, so that the counters can verify the date. The lawsuit suggested that this requirement was an undue burden, and lower courts agreed. But the law is the law is the law, and there is no reason why someone cannot date an envelope and follow that law. How is adding a date an undue burden. It wasn't too many years ago that you had to go in and actually vote in person or provide a reason to use an absentee ballot.

It is not an undue burden to be asked to follow the law. If you are afraid of not filling out your mail-in ballot correctly, well then go ahead and vote in person. The concept is that Democrats must inherently understand that their electorate is not as bright as their opponents electorate and therefore, things have to be dumbed down for them as much as possible.
