Hannity will take over Carlson's slot and Gutfeld will move to prime time
I like the idea of Gutfeld moving to primetime. He has been the king of late night for some time and is truly a talent. I think that is about the best move FOX could make at this point.
Moving Hannity to replace Carlson probably makes more sense than trying to bring in someone new to be in that coveted slot. Hannity is probably the most popular of the remaining FOX personalities.
But either way, FOX has a big problem and it appears that they will likely just fall in the rankings across the board in every time slot. I have read people on the left who demand that Carlson leaving will not have any long lasting affect (referring back to people like Bill O'Reilly and Megyn Kelly who did not seem to have much long term impact), but I believe they misread the situation. Part of it is Tucker Carlson, part of it is FOX News in general moving left, and part of it is that not as many people are tuning into cable news (or television news in general). You cannot expect to do well getting a smaller slice of a shrinking pie.
They say they are not sure what they are doing with Ingraham.
I wonder what happened to Laura Ingraham or did she move to an unreported time slot?
Big loser is Hannity, his numbers will be a fraction of Tuckers and will be easy to compare.
Must admit I'm not a fan of his.
Also NewsMax actually passed CNN on last Friday's ratings...
