Former Senator John Sununu running again in New Hampshire.

This could be a big deal if the GOP can put a big name person on the 2026 ticket here.

Hard to say right now how this will shake up the race. Scott Brown (former longshot Senate winner a few cycles ago) is also in the running, but Sununu already has a monstrous lead against him. Someone named Chris Pappas is the current Democratic frontrunner. Pappas was at one time a House Representative. I think Sununu has the name recognition and possible advantage.
The down side? Like many east coast conservatives who are able to win, there is a Susan Collins type "moderation" about Sununu that will not make him popular with the MAGA crowd. He has been largely negative about Trump and pushed back against any claims that there was anything wrong in the 2020 election. But hey, if that is what it takes to win in New Hampshire, then better a moderate Republican than a leftist Democrat.
You need to correct the picture to show John Sununu Jr instead of Sr.
Could be a GOP win there.

The revelation that the tattoo had been hastily covered up is just the latest bizarre twist that the high-stakes Senate race had taken in just the past 10 days. The unfolding drama has so far included a sweep of old internet posts, a drunken video of Platner in his underwear,…
