Judge McAfee rules in favor of his old boss...
So my first thought is this:
Anyone else tired of judges and prosecutors and FBI directors and everyone else chastising Democrats for their behavior, but refusing to actually do anything about it?
Lets look at one of the key statements here:
This finding is by no means an indication that the Court condones this tremendous lapse in judgment or the unprofessional manner of the District Attorney’s testimony during the evidentiary hearing.
Actually, this is exactly that. McAfee has condoned it by allowing her to remain on the case. By acknowledging that the behavior is bad and yet determining that she would not be removed. That is (by definition) condoning something. Let's be clear here. The behavior was not just unprofessional, but lying under oath is illegal. There is no question that both Willis and Wade lied. At this point, McAfee is condoning perjury.
Now at issue is that one of them has to go. Certainly that will be Wade and not Fani. But now the state has an even bigger complaint about the $650K that was paid out to someone who will never be in court for a trial (if it ever makes it to trial).
In my humble opinion, this ruling just ensures that the Georgia Government will eventually step up and remove her based on the new oversight bill that was just signed into law. I think she is a dead prosecutor walking at this point and the fact that McAfee doesn't see this is strange.
Democrats are simultaneously hitting the panic button and desperately casting about for explanations as to why Trump is winning, but the answer is at once simple and overwhelming: They haven’t reckoned with the fact that the electorate, including a lot of traditionally Democrat constituencies, are starting to notice that in recent years the default right-of-center position on just about every major political issue has proven correct, where the left-wing ruling class has been quite definitively wrong.
...
Obviously, making this broad observation is not necessarily an endorsement of Trump or the GOP, and there are probably some finer policy points where you can plausibly disagree. But on just about every issue that has dominated the public discourse post-Trump, the pro-Democrat…
McCarthy suggests that the case staying in the house of Fani is a better thing than having it moved to another jurisdiction, where more serious prosecutors would probably strip the Racketeering charges and move more quickly on the rest of it individually. Makes sense.
If the sugar train is going to stop for him. He may start talking about things Fani doesn’t want spoken.
