Ever notice that the Democrats TP against Trump is always purely hypothetical?

Democracy is on the ballot, Trump is an existential threat, and no need to explain why!

Now that the USSC has overturned the most serious charges against about 30% of the capital protesters arrested in 2021, the argument that there was some kind of coup becomes an even more difficult logical lift. The left has always contended that conservatives entering the capital in protest was fundamentally different than the thousands of liberals who have done so and will continue to do so for different (and apparently better) reasons.

Case in point. When Democrats flooded the Capital complex in an attempt to prevent the confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh there was no cry from the left that this was any sort of threat to democracy. Hundreds of $35 fines with citations were handed out to those who decided to "occupy" the complex and hunt down those who were ready to vote his nomination forward. Yet when hundreds of conservatives entered the capital allegedly to delay a purely ceremonial count of the electoral college votes this was seen as a violent coup, an insurrection, and jail time was handed out like candy. Unless you allow yourself to be fooled into believing that there was some actual significance to the electoral vote count or that delaying it could have actually impacted the election results, this was no more or less a threat to congress than what Democrats did, have done, and will continue to do.

In other words, even as we look past on actual events, there is an air of hypothetical that separates the events that in reality are not much different. The same types of protests from conservatives are judged as "threats to democracy" while protesting liberals are treated as "social justice warriors" and "mostly peaceful protesters" fighting for important causes.

When we look at the upcoming election, it isn't just an air of hypothetical, it is the open and almost exclusive argument. If we look at the "direction of the country numbers" right now they are negative with a spread of almost 40 points between wrong and right. Prior to the pandemic, the direction of the country numbers averaged less than 20 points between wrong and right. Much of the Trump presidency showed consumer confidence moving into the 140-index range. We've spent much of the Biden presidency struggling to stay above 100. Inflation stayed under 2% during Trump's presidency, while 2% is a faraway goal of the Biden economic team. Real income grew consistently during the Trump presidency, while it has overall diminished during Biden's term. Isn't economic disaster an existential threat?

We had peace during the Trump presidency. In fact, we even signed Middle East peace treaties under Trump. We are currently funding three factions in two different wars, and we were humiliated by the Taliban within weeks of Biden becoming President. Of course, Biden would like you to forget the casualties from Afghanistan, just as he apparently has. But twelve servicemen died, billions of dollars in military equipment was left behind, hundreds of American citizens were left stranded, and in response we drone killed an innocent delivery driver and his family falsely claiming they were terrorists. We are heading towards WWIII, but the left sees no existential threat from that.

Do we even need to get into the problems at the border, problems with crime, problems with homelessness. The increase in violence against churches and pro-life facilities ever since Roe v Wade was overturned? What about the growing chasm between everyday Americans and those bubble liberals who demand that children should be transitioned to different sexes, that men should compete with women in athletics, and that we need to allow men to shower with women if they claim that they "identify" as such? Are none of these social issues an existential threat? How about the growing destructive and violent antisemitism coming from the left? Why is this sort of hate not an existential threat? As much as the "powers-to-be" have tried to redefine hate crimes to make it appear that violence against minorities is growing, the reality of violence against Jews cannot be overridden by the "hypothetical" of changing your definitions of hate. 90% of all hate crimes right now are against Jews and this all comes from your far-left antisemitism. But that is apparently not an existential threat either.

Nope the real existential threat comes from the left's irrational hatred of the bad orange man and the possibility that more Americans will vote for him than the old geezer who barely made it through last week's debate. They will not cite anything that did happen under Trump, at least not specifically, not statistically, or not objectively. They will not show us where or how things got better under Biden, at least not specifically, not statistically, or not objectively. They will openly state that it somehow has gotten better in spite of all tangible evidence. They will call Trump names. They will demand that the fake NY Trial should change things. They will demand that the indictments from Jack Smith should mean something. They will project their irrational need to have the "right" President over the need for most Americans to have a "better" President.

What Trump really represents to liberals is an existential threat to their psyche. Nothing else.

Never forget that every single narrative promoted by the left is a FALSE narrative. This has been true for at least the past 50 years and will remain so after we are dead and gone.

Pick any topic at the forefront of American politics today and at it's core is a democrat LIE.

Some say this began with the USSC nomination of Robert Bork and I would accept that as being largely true. Guess who was Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and presided over the Bork hearings?

This is why to me, watching this "presidency" collapse in such a spectacular and embarrassing manner is absolutely delicious. This piece of shit deserves all of it and more, and may he…

My wife was totally shocked and dismayed when she saw clips of the dementia President at the debate, but she irrationally hates Orangeman worse. I’m hoping to get to go LP

At the end of the day... it is really a matter of selfishness that liberals prefer what is bad for the country because they want to validate their own feelings.
