Europe is getting it right!

Both figuratively and literally!

Early projections of the EU-election results show that the continent’s right-wing parties have made significant advances as voters signal their dissatisfaction with illegal immigration and inflation. Formerly powerful left-wing parties seem to have been routed, while centrists stayed the course.

This antiestablishment sentiment was expressed most strongly in Germany and France, two of the European bloc’s most powerful countries.

The French results prompted President Emmanuel Macron to dissolve the French parliament in preparation for snap elections on June 30 and July 7, as his party lost badly to Marine Le Pen’s National Rally, which is part of the Identity and Democracy coalition in the European Parliament.

So goes Europe, so goes the United States?

I don't know if that is true anymore as I believe that the United States is currently more liberal and more "woke" than any other country on earth. Sure, Europe used to be more liberal than here by a long way. Which outspoken liberal didn't threaten to move to France or Italy or the UK to avoid the nasty right-wing politics of America and which liberal did not believe we should become more like Europe? But that ideal seems to have slowly shifted over the past few decades to the point where the reverse seems true. Europe is generally ahead of us when it comes to electing conservatives and invoking conservative policies, while the United States still seem stubbornly stuck to failed liberal dogma.

There are some signs that the United States is shifting right. Certainly, the fact that the GOP can nominate a "convicted felon" and still be running ahead of Joe Biden in the polls seem relevant to that idea. In terms of policy, the country has moved right. They want to close the border, they want to fight crime, they find the economy more important than the environment and other social issues. But it seems that certain people are stubborn about the political party that they vote for here. Many times, their vote does not reflect their policy preferences. They vote Democrat because they are used to it.

I think the GOP should be expecting gains in 2024. They certainly should pick up at least a couple of Senate seats, and there is no reason why they should not expand on the House by at least a small margin. The Presidency is still up for grabs, but certainly Trump is seen as the betting favorite, moving over 50% again in the RCP betting averages. In the perfect world, Trump would win, the GOP would pick up at least two or three Senate seats, and a dozen or so House seats. With the White House and Senate, they would control the Judicial nominees, appointments, and such. While they may not be able to pass anything radical, they might pass some marginal issues that are popular and more importantly, there would be no more moves to the left for at least four years.

I-Slam declared war on the Western World over 30 years ago. And it has quite literally taken the murders of thousands for the West to figure this the fuck OUT.

Better late than never I suppose. Except for Great Britain. As Robert Spencer clearly illustrates GB is probably irrevocably FUCKED. If they would only pursue murderous moose-limbs with as much vigor as they pursue Tommy Robinson...
