Epstein issue consistent but not important.

Democrats believe they have a big winner here, as both sides agree that the Government is probably hiding something. Problem is that most people don't see it as a very important issue.
Keep in mind that Donald Trump ended his relationship with Epstein in a very public manner back in 2007 after he allegedly harassed an underage daughter of a prominent member at Mar-a-Lago. Epstein was kicked out of the club and it was well known that Trump and Epstein were no longer on good terms. Of all the people to tie to Epstein and his behavior, trying to tie Trump is not something that seems to stick.
To the degree that an old birthday card was reportedly sent to Epstein by Trump, that took place twenty years ago and long before Epstein was arrested or was known to be the creep he actually was. There is no evidence that Donald Trump engaged in any of the tomfoolery that took place on the Island. Literally none.
Now according to Harry Enten over at CNN, the Epstein fiasco is not helping to bring down Trump or his approval rating. As Enten suggested, it is actually higher with Republicans since this became a story and there was only one Republican respondent in their recent poll that considered the Epstein issue to be a top priority. As Enten suggests, that is one respondent, not even one percent. While nearly everyone agrees that there is an Epstein client list and that the Government is hiding it, people don't care enough about it to have it matter more than the other issues that are going on.
