Democrats value antisemitism over class...

Platner is the poster child for the 2026 American left

So here is what we know:

• The Nazi Tattoo was a adolescent mistake. Just a drunk 20 years old.

• His antisemitism is a feature and not a bug. Jews are bad. Liberals know this.

• Black people don't tip, but that is not racist if he believes it is true.

• Fag and gay are reasonable terms for Senators to use to insult people.

• He believes women rape victims need to take responsibility for being raped.

• Likes to masturbate in porta-potties and will tell anyone who wants to hear about it cause it is a cool thing to do.

• He is still on hook up sex sites and sexting with strange women even after being married. But this is between him and his wife.

So the problem here is what it is going to be for many liberal antisemites. Generally antisemitism does not exist in a vacuum. Those who bigoted towards one group seems to be bigoted in general. It would appear that Platner has issues with Jews, gays, blacks, rural Americans and women who get raped. You know, just to name a few.

Now supporters will argue that these are just distractions from the issues he is running on, but part of being a Senator is the idea that you have some shred of decency as a human being. If you cannot be trusted to remain faithful to your wife in a marriage that is less than three years old, then how can you be trusted by voters to follow through on any of these promises.

The socialism/communism and antisemitism is what attracted people like Bernie Sanders to support him. They will take the good with the bad, as long as they can push moderates like Janet Mills aside like yesterday's trash. There is no more room for that sort of moderation in the Democratic Party (or possibly either party). Ironically Platner will be running against one of the most moderate Senators in recent history. We will see if the people of Maine really want a fascist Nazi antisemitic, homophobe racist to represent them. Sadly.... they just might.
