The Reasonable Inquiry Rule and Examination Rule are under fire from Democrats and Raffensperger (who has never seen an issue with a Georgia election)
Once again, we have the age-old argument from Democrats that you should not ever investigate election fraud because there is no proof of any historical election fraud anywhere at any time. You will hear these as laws looking for a crime or that the election board in this case is "chasing ghosts".
What the rules do is allow for a count between the number of votes cast and the number of votes counted. If the latter exceeds the former, then the Reasonable Inquiry Rule kick in, and the election board would be allowed access to documentation, processes, chain of command, etc.
In other words, all a county has to do to avoid the inquiry is to make sure they accurately provide a vote count to the Secretary of State that matches the number of votes that were cast. If 150,000 votes were cast and 150,000 votes were reported, then there is no problem. However, if 150,000 votes were cast, but 160,000 votes were reported, then obviously that should be a problem worth looking into. But apparently, it would not be a problem for Democrats or Raffensperger, who suggests that it is more important to get a timely vote certification within "X" number of days than to get an accurate vote count.
Now given how many election "rules" were created by Democrats during the 2020 election to deal with Covid (many of which ran counter to election laws), it seems particularly hypocritical for Democrats to step up an complain about this. Moreover, for Raffensperger
to complain that these sorts of rules make people more skeptical of election results is laughable. To suggests upfront that the election will be secure and accurate seems like fake bravado given he doesn't want anyone questioning anything. Of course, if you never allow anyone to question anything, then nothing is ever wrong? Can't prove what you do not investigate.
What Gaza could've been without Hamas is also what every major American city could've been without democrats.

So we finally get an interview with Harris, and it's a joint event with Walz, taped not live, with CNN. Wtf??
