Conspiracy theories have become news stories now that Biden no longer needs to be protected.

Since stepping down, it appears the media suddenly opened their eyes and can see!

Can anyone remember when bringing up ties between Hunter Biden, Burisma, and government influence could lead to a President to be impeached? The idea that Hunter was anything other than a spectacular business man and savvy attorney who brought his "smartest man Joe Biden knows" sort of intellect to the table was the sole reason he was being paid lavishly by Ukrainian energy companies and Chinese finance companies for limited involvement.

Now that Joe Biden is no longer running for President, apparently the knives are out and the media has finally figured out after all these years that Hunter might have been sitting on these boards to garner political influence? Go figure. The only question is whether or not they actually believed their own nonsense, or if they just figured that they could score some points by going after Hunter now that it no longer really affects national politics. You know, to say "look at us going after a Democrat after everyone said we never would". I suspect this was a little bit of both. They probably "did" to some degree simply "decide" to take the Biden denials at their words and simply had no incentive or desire to double check any of it or think critically. But I also believe that deep down, they understood that if they really did dig, that they probably would find something. But I believe that cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing, and they were able to squash those feeling of curiosity with intellectual dishonesty.

Oh and let's be clear. Ahead of the truth. Ahead of honesty. Ahead of integrity. Ahead of everything else in the minds of the media is the underlying principle of never doing anything that could even remotely help the bad orange man. I believe that attitude played as big a part as any here. But since it no longer helps Trump, the truth no longer needs to be hidden. So far, we have found that Biden truly was cognitively battered and that his son was using his Biden family name to sell influence.  Look for more conspiracy theories related to Joe Biden to come true in the upcoming months. At least if the have any time left over from hiding the truth about Kamala Harris from the public.
