The Clintons subpoenaed to talk about Epstein.

The best defense is a good offense?

The House Oversight Committee has issued subpoenas for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton, and a host of other high-profile Democrats seeking to compel testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein.

Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issued additional subpoenas to former Attorneys General Merrick Garland, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales, as well as former FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller.

This is likely going to break some Democrats who are now convinced that the only person on the entire Epstein client list is Donald Trump. Of course they are convinced due to no particular good reason. As it stands, Trump is said to have been mentioned as being someone who associated with Epstein. Of course, they lived two miles apart in Florida and both had places in Manhattan. They were at least acquaintances and possibly even friends at one time, before having a falling out in the early 2000s.

Trump was said to have gone either from Florida to New York or to New York to Florida on Epstein's private jet seven times. This also makes sense if they were neighbors who both traveled back and forth. I would bet that Epstein probably flew on the Trump jet as well. There are some thirty year allegations/implications that have no way to be confirmed. There are some other allegations of things that are actually not questionable (such as meeting a 14 year old Miss Teen candidate). Otherwise, you are talking about people suggesting that Trump must be "hiding" something because it turns out that much of what is in the Epstein files probably cannot actually be released. This is the main logic for the left right now in tying Trump to Epstein.

But before the left became infatuated with the concept that Trump must be hiding something, it was well known that it was Biden/Garland who were hiding something. Back then everyone assumed (for actual good reason) that some powerful people on the left probably had something to hide, up to and including the Clintons. Obviously this was not going to be covered by the MSM and the left was not going to talk about it. Because all of the fallout was looking like it would come for the liberals.

The reality, of course, is that the obsession from the left right now over Trump does not change that factual dynamic. Trump was ever thought to be on flights to the Epstein Island, because there is no evidence that Trump was ever at that island. Other high profile people? Well they have no such factual denial available. Many are said to be on those manifests. In fact, there are likely tons of possible allegations of actual wrongdoings that will affect way more people than Trump.

The left open this can of worms, the question is whether or not they really want to see what is in it?
