My news feed on my phone had a headline about Trump being booed at the Georgia Alabama game?
The headline said he was booed. The actual story suggested that there were cheers and a "spattering" of boos. Every video and audio I heard from the game (when he was shown on the big screen) provided fairly exuberant cheering.
If there were boos (which there may have been I guess) they were certainly drowned out by the rousing cheers. After all Trump won Alabama in 2020 by over twenty five points and I am guessing he won by a lot more than that in the demographic of college football fans. Not a lot of single cat ladies, Gen Z internet influencers, or Trans folks with green hair attending the Bama Georgia game.
There used to be a saying about not saying anything if you had nothing good to say. In the media's case, I think we could modify that a bit. If you don't have anything honest to report, then don't report anything at all.
REPORTER: "Any comment on the strikes in Yemen, Mr. President!?"
BIDEN (or whatever's left of him): "I've spoken to both sides. They gotta settle the strike. I'm supporting the collective bargaining effort. I think they'll settle the strike."
