California ends it's ban on traveling to horrible red states that discriminate...

Sort of hard for a Governor who might want to run for President some day to have a law that does not allow him to travel to 26 of our 50 states...

A California law banning publicly funded travel to states with laws that discriminate against LGBTQ people is no longer active under legislation signed Wednesday by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.

California’s Senate Bill 447, also known as the BRIDGE Project, officially repeals a 2016 law that prohibited the state from sponsoring travel to states with laws in place that discriminate “on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.”

At the time of the BRIDGE Project’s passage, the number of states subject to California’s ban was an unprecedented 26, preventing state workers — including university professors and elected officials — from visiting more than half the country on state-sponsored trips.

It turns out that the 26 states that triggered California activists with their anti-LGBTQ stances (mostly in banning puberty blockers in children and not allowing 6' 4" people with penises to compete against women in sports) didn't really care that Californians were not allowed any state sponsored visits. I guess the original idea was that places like Florida, Texas, and Ohio would be so upset and shamed by Californians not coming to visit that they would go out and change their own laws to appease them. I guess?

At the end of the day it didn't change anything other than making certain Californians happy to be virtue signaling. Of course, it is much harder to be virtuous than it is to signal your politicized version of your personal idea of virtue. Now apparently all of these snowflake Californians will have to live with the horror that that Californians will actually travel to the other half of the country not approved of by the far left of California.

Leading Report on X: "BREAKING: Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will probably run as an independent if the DNC keeps ‘rigging the primary.’" / X (twitter.com)

Sure... why not. Who is the IRS to dare question the Bidens anyways!

My guess is that they will roll over and just hand him over $$$!!

It seems like every leftist in America is all of a sudden learning the hard way that virtue signalling is neither easy or cheap.
