Big Beautiful Bill passes Senate

Now the real negotiations begin!

Will the House pass a bill that adds an additional 1.2 trillion to the deficit the the House bill? To be fair, that is 1.2 trillion over ten years (or about 120 billion a year). This is also only the first of four budgets that will be passed during Trump's term, so it is possible that they might be able to hammer out some additional changes over the next couple of cycles (depending on how the midterm goes). But it seems unlikely that the House will just accept what the Senate just passed.
Is there a compromise that will not lose any more members from either side? These things always have a way of working out. I am guessing this one will as well.
If I take issue with anything here, it's the fact that Thune would not challenge the Senate Parliamentary on any of the things she brought up during the process. I get that the Senate is big on rules and regulations and not breaking them (lest the other side will start to do the same thing), but the things she was suggesting were not "budget related" really stretched the boundaries of logic. In reality, it seemed to just be more about trying to undermine the entire process, rather than making sure they were adhering to the rules. Once again, the minority seems to hold the cards in these things, just as they seem to do through much of the lower court judiciary.
Chief Trumpster on X: "Are you tired of illegals in your area? Wish there was a way for them to go into hiding? Look no further than ICEBlock! Falsely report ICE sightings at your local supermarket, hardware store, and watch the illegals flee the area! You will have peace and quiet-thank me later! https://t.co/Un3m5FEksZ" / X
