Biden would still likely need to voluntarily step down for the Democrats to replace him on the ballot.

Contrary to popular belief, no true mechanism really exists for the DNC to just replace Biden at the convention.

After the bombshell special counsel report that undermined Biden's competency and mental capacity, many are suggesting that it is just a matter of time before he is replaced. However, this is not as simple as one might think.

In 2016, there was talk of replacing Hillary Clinton after health issues arose (filmed collapsing several times) on top of her classified document scandal. The justified sentiment was that she was the only candidate who could possibly lose to Donald Trump and replacing her with almost anyone would guarantee victory. But those calling for her removal eventually had to admit that they simply could not just replace her based on the DNC rules and bylaws. Those rules and bylaws would have had to be changed and that is no small feat.

in 2024 the committee that oversees the DNC rules and bylaws is by all accounts flooded with Biden supporters. They have already made moves specific for Biden, such as moving primary dates around and making it harder for his challengers to gain traction. The committee is all in on a smooth transition from Biden the incumbent to Biden the candidate. These Biden allies would have to be the ones to make changes to the rules, and so far, everyone who is in the Biden corner has remained in the Biden corner. Unless that changes, the idea of a coup is unlikely.

This is a fine line sort of deal. If people start calling for the resignation of a sitting President that many people still support, all hell could break loose with infighting. Moreover, many would see this as an admission that Biden's Presidency was a bust, opening up the potential criticism that they are admitting that Democratic policies were a bust. Lastly, the issue people have with Biden are not going to be fixed by replacing him with another likeminded candidate. They want real change, and not change that takes us further left. By replacing Biden the Democrats would be treating the symptoms and ignoring the underlying cause.

That first half way so bad, it really wasn’t good game until the final 10 minutes.

Second half I was watching the second half of Wales-England’s 6 nations match and flipping back and forth.

My wife was so infuriated with 9ers fans, after we saw them against Pittsburgh this year, I had to pull for the KC

I watched the first half of the game and the halftime show on tape delay. I was just about ready to watch the second half when I got a "news alert" on my phone that the Chiefs won in overtime.

I was rooting for the Niners (long time Niners fan as I was born in the bay area)... so the first half with Kelsey throwing helmets and catching one pass for 1 yard was as good as I could have wished for!

I like Usher from the standpoint of seeing him on the Voice and in other events. He seems like a genuinely nice chill human being. I am not a big fan of his music, because it is just not generally "my thing". But talk about style over substance!
