GOP says tax and spend budget is dead on arrival
What kind of fool proposes a tax hike that starts with a five and has the word "trillion" in it. Well obviously the type of fool that the American public might vote to become President of the United States.
Several Republicans in Congress stated what probably didn't need to even be stated. This budget will not pass the House.
What sort of motivation does it take to actually put forward such a ridiculous notion? First, many of the experts doubt that the taxes they propose will even garner the amount they suggest (which seems to always be the case with tax and spend liberal economics). Meaning it will not pay for the extra spending. Secondly, the proposed taxes would hit corporations heavy, raising the cost of business, thus ultimately providing more fuel to the inflation fire. Somehow the left seems to always believe that businesses will absorb their proposed tax hikes and simply take less profit. This is why you have so few liberals running successful businesses. They simply do not understand businesses work.
