If anyone pretends they do not see the politicized nature of these indictments, then they don't give a bitter rat's ass about the American justice system anymore. There are those out there who want it used as a weapon.
To listen to some of these players on the left, the reason that they must actually weaponize the legal system against Trump is to prevent him from becoming President, where they believe he will turn around and weaponize it against others?

The reality is that Trump was President for four years and there was no weaponization of the DOJ against Democrats. In fact, the DOJ under Trump did everyone but give Democrats get out of jail free cards. Do you recall a single Democrat singled out for bogus criminal harassment by the FBI, DOJ or anyone else that worked under Trump? I would offer that they did more to go after Trump (while they worked for him) than they did going after the entire make up of Democrats country-wide all put together. Of all the high profile politicians who might have set off some suspicion, the only one ever investigated was the guy the left claims is looking to weaponize the system?
This is called projection. They are openly admitting through this projection that they believe that politicized weaponization of the DOJ is perfectly acceptable when they are in charge and are expressing concerns that their own actions will be used against them.
The only thing Trump or other Republicans are suggesting is that they are going to dismantle the entire structure and remove anyone associated with any weaponization of the system. The GOP wants nobody singled out over politics and they want the FBI and DOJ to become a true non-political, fair for all Americans, justice system?
The only question is why does this concept bother Democrats?

Did anyone notice that all of these Indictments surrounding Trump waited till he decided to run for President again? Would Alvin Bragg really be trying to charge him with 2017 charges in 2023 or would Smith be charging Trump with 2020 charges three years later if he wasn't running for President?
