Audio recordings from the Hur interview show that Biden was "sharp as a tack".

Or possibly dumb as a tack.

Only problem was that Biden wasn't asked about his son, he brought it up. This was just one of many specific things that the right understood to be true, but the left had to be pulled into believing kicking and screaming. Now that it is out there, even the left side of the media is going all in and pointing figures everywhere but at themselves.

This begs the question. Was the media bamboozled by the Administration? Was the media just so blindly partisan that they couldn't see it? Did they deep down understand what was happening, but felt like it had to be covered up? Perhaps it is somehow a combination of all of it. They refused to acknowledge what gnawed at them about Biden, allowing themselves to be taken in by the Administration spin, because they desperately did not want to report anything differently because it might help Trump win the election. Makes as much sense as anything else.

Also, the tapes provide evidence that Biden did in fact keep documents he knew to be classified because he wanted them as souvenirs. This is exactly what some accused Trump of doing, which led to a special counsel looking into his behavior as criminal. So while Biden got away with it because he was old and senile, Trump had to put up with all of this lawfare. But according to those on the left, old and senile was better than someone competent enough to face criminal charges.

All we know is that the post Biden Presidency is not going well and it may be a future case study in how to gaslight a willing media and electorate.
