She should be more worried about not being charged or being sanctioned by the bar.
Obviously, Fani does not seem concerned that she will be taken off this case. It seems even more obvious is that she is not concerned that the citizens of Fulton County will hold her accountable for her lies, deceit, and malpractice. Even without the false statements, perjury and other issues, she used $650,000 in Georgia taxpayer dollars that was earmarked for other things to pay her unqualified boyfriend to be her sidekick on this case. One would think that would get under the skin of most voters. Again, Fani doesn't believe so and who is to say some Fulton County voters will not care.
The rhetoric provided by Fani is that their false statements, their lies, and their perjury under oath is apparently different than those they are trying to put in jail. In spite of over 90% of her charges in this "Racketeering case" being false statements, misrepresentations to the court, or perjury, she demands that she is prosecuting people for attempting to "steal an election" rather than the actions they committed. Wade and her lies are all in the good faith of protecting this prosecution from being undermined. That distinction (rather than the actions) is all that matters.
This, of course has been mainstay liberal judicial thinking for some time now. It's not the actions that matter, but rather the reasoning behind them. How you treat an attack against capital police officers over a stolen election depends on entirely on which election we are referring to. If you attacked police over the 2017 election well more power to you. Enjoy the prosecutors dropping your charges. Do the same thing in 2021, better plan on spending the next few years in jail. If you flat out lied to the FBI about Donald Trump, you could rest assured no D.C. jury will convict you. If you are associated with Donald Trump then you can be charged with telling the truth in a manner that the FBI decides is misleading and know they will likely ruin your life.
The potential saving grace is that the larger state of Georgia is neither D.C. nor Fulton County. The citizens of Georgia (outside of Fulton County) are largely outraged by this as are even a fair share of those within the County. The question remains whether the people at the top (Brian Kemp and Chris Carr) will find the courage to stand up and do something right for a change, rather than continue their little spat with Trump (which demands they deny there were any problems with Georgia's 2020 election). Even if potential criminal investigations are not on the horizon, the Georgia Congress is already investigating and are in the process of passing a bill that would allow prosecutors such as these two to be removed by a vote of congress. On top of that, the Georgia state Bar will be addressing it as well.
The question is does it matter? Because something tells me that there are going to be Fulton County liberals who would vote for Fani because she is just corrupt enough to push these sorts of charges against her political enemies. Some will see it as a feature rather than a bug.
I have a liberal relative who posted on Facebook about this that Republicans would rather go after Fani for a $100 dinner than Trump for a boatload of high crimes. A $100 dinner. That's what they think this is about.
I saw that story about the recording. I think it has been long held that the call was illegally recorded but wonder out loud how much of that is actually going to be pushed in trial. Legally they just need to stay away from bringing it up, but they know full well that the rhetoric is out there and jurists will be aware of it.
The problem with using it is that it only works if you can control the context which would easily blow up when the defense presented the full call.
BOMBSHELL: Infamous Trump-Raffensperger Call at Heart of Fani Willis Prosecution Was Illegally Recorded

Look at it this way - She's an idiot and a pathological liar. Idiot's and pathological liars rely upon the public sector/government for jobs. They're unemployable in the private sector where results matter. It really is their only option. See: Biden, Joe.
Plus, her chances for re-election are excellent since the majority of those she would represent are imbeciles. So she has that going for her.
It may seem arrogant, but in reality it's perfectly logical.
Cynicism is your friend.
