Are we going to be at war?

Iran-backed Houthi terrorist group fired ballistic missiles at a U.S. destroyer that was rescuing an Israeli-linked tanker in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen, the Israeli and U.S. media reports suggest.

So the ballistic missile came nowhere near hitting anything, but they did shoot it at a US war ship. Seems to me that if that is not an act of war, it is certainly and act of provocation.

Now never in a million years would I expect slow Joe to actually respond to this with anything other than an apology for being in the way of enemy fire. But of course we know that if we had a different President that there would be a different response and that none of this would likely be happening anyways.

This goes back to liberals demanding that Trump would be handling all of these problems (starting with the Taliban, moving through Russia/Ukraine, and now engulfing the Middle East) in a worse manner than Biden had. Of course they do not realize that it was how Biden handled the ongoing situations prior to them escalating into the current situations that caused the mess in the first place. In other words, had Trump won a second term it is improbable that the Taliban would have did what they did, improbable that Putin would invaded Ukraine, and much less likely that Hamas would have attacked Israel (although you never know with them).

But now we not only have all of these other problems, we now are in a place in the world where random terror groups believe they can shoot missiles at US war ships and get away with it. Something that never would have happened under Trump and something that the feckless Joe Biden will do little about.
