Arctic Frost scandal keeps growing...

We now find out that the DOJ was subpoenaing records from the Judiciary oversight committee, including the Chair of the committee.

The latest update on this growing scandal is that the Biden DOJ requested the records of Jim Jeffreys. The larger this gets, the more it looks like they were just universally sweeping the phone records of GOP congressional leadership. Not selected people who they believed might have been part of whatever it was that they were investigating. Jan 6th?

But in the case, they were basically combing through the phone records of the very person wo was responsible for oversight of their entire organization. Seems like a breach of legality, integrity, and common sense. Now the claim was that there was some actual plot to overthrow the 2020 election which required this, but of course, nothing every became of it and none of the Senators or Representatives were ever legitimately accused of anything.

It has become an issue lately (or at least a bigger issue) that we cannot really trust our government agencies or even many of our judges to follow even the most basic concepts of our laws. We are seeing blind partisanship replacing sound legal reasoning a across the board and one has to wonder if we can even survive this as a country.
