How could you not vote for Kamala??

One of two thing are taking place here. Either almost nobody showed up at the event with Harris and Walz, or the crowd is very unenthusiastic. Well, it might be that almost nobody showed up and those few were still unenthusiastic. So, I guess it could be both.

Is it any wonder that she is staying out of the spotlight and that reporters are reporting on everything other than the substance of Kamala Harris? This is a "vibe" election according to those trying to create a narrative. Of course, the vibe is coming from everyone "but" Harris. If Harris was pushing the vibe, you would be seeing Harris, not just hearing about her.

But what about the content of the speech?

Now to say that the concept of dividing people is driven by Trump is laughable. Without the labeling and identity politics that the left constant engages in, there would be almost no campaign. Apparently if you are a Harris fan, you must find your group (White dudes or Black women or whatever) and then get together with them. Lord forbid, White dudes and Black women could get together and champion the cause as a group! It's no secret that Trump has put a dent in the hold that Democrats have over minority and blue-collar voters. He is poise (even with a woman of color as his opponent) to probably double his black vote and increase both Hispanic and Asian vote. He already owns the majority of the blue-collar vote.

At some point minority and the liberal blue-collar voters will cease to believe that they are aggrieved 24/7. At some point in time, the lion's share of these voters is going to start wanting a fair chance to get a good job and take care of themselves, rather than have the government take care of them. Eventually they will figure out that Democrats are not really making anything better for them, in spite of decades of promises. Democrats are in it for themselves, and their most faithful voter is simply a tool to get there.

Perhaps this sort of tepid reaction to a puzzling line of campaign strategy is more than just Harris being stupid. Perhaps people are tiring of the same rhetoric election after election after election. Eventually they will want real change, not just more promises.
