File this under no bad deed goes unpunished!
California Senate candidate Rep. Adam Schiff was given a rude welcome to San Francisco on Thursday as he was reportedly a victim of a theft just hours before a ritzy campaign dinner.
According to The San Francisco Chronicle, thieves broke into his car that was parked in a downtown parking garage and stole his bags. Without business clothes to wear, Schiff still proceeded to the event in shirt sleeves and a hiking vest, according to the Chronicle, with others dressed in suits.
At the dinner, Schiff thanked attorney Joe Cotchett for supporting Schiff’s bid to replace the late Dianne Feinstein and represent California in the U.S. Senate.
I am trying to grasp what exactly shirt sleeves (what happened to the rest of the shirt) are and why he was wearing a hiking vest in San Francisco. Seems more than a bit odd. Schiff appears to be the sort of guy who walks around in a suit all day long to make up for the unusually buggy eyes. But nope... apparently, he was dressed more like crocodile Dundee and had to attend his event in a hiking vest.
But while I am not someone who cheers crime, this one makes me smile just a little bit.
I’ve never flown into Sac we did everything possible to avoid San Fran
I’ll report tomorrow then to Mendocino
I used to love Sacramento. Probably the nicest and easiest airport to fly in and out of. I haven't been there in probably a decade, but I am shocked that it would have gone that far downhill in that little of time. Seems there used to be a difference between northern and southern California.
My god I fly into the belly of the beast tomorrow, Sacramento isn’t SanFran but close

Schiff must have been very thankful they left his car behind. Then again the thief may have been one of his fellow attendees. Or someone who deplored Schiff's sense of fashion and just disposed of the articles in the local trash. Last guess is a homeless person without toilet paper.
Schiff is trash. If he is elected to the Senate he'll even stink that up more than his California predecessors.
