While the USSC lifted an injunction that prevented Feds from cutting down the razor wire, the ruling did not state that Texas had to let Feds into contested areas?
So now we have an old fashioned standoff. The Texas National Guard controls the area and the Feds want to come in and take over. The Feds have given Texas till tomorrow to flee the area. But the real question is... "or what?".
I mean, what if the National Guard keeps them out of there. They have no order from anyone that tells the Texas National Guard that they must leave and relinquish Texas land to Federal agents, so that Federal agents can help more illegals cross the border. Will Abbot back down and order the Guard to stand by?
Hmmmm... tomorrow should be interesting.
DC_Draino on X: "Barely any major media outlets are covering the border showdown between Biden and Texas Only social media That’s how you know it’s a huge political liability for the regime They don’t want voters to know the Biden regime is fighting to flood our country with illegal aliens" / X (twitter.com)
Maybe with Haley gone the boys at the Citadel will lob a few rounds at Sumter
The Texas State Guard is a state defense force that assists and augments the other Texas military branches and civil authorities in times of state emergencies, and on-going support of National Guard units and local communities. They are not part of the federal armed forces command structure, but rather operate purely as a state-organized and controlled military force.
The Texas State Guard consists of four Civil Affairs Brigades, each containing four battalions. Specialty units exist at the company level for tasks such as search and rescue, watercraft operation, diving, and security.
Don’t forget Texas has a state militia not just the National Guard.
