A different take on "try that in a small town"....

When did chunky humbucker guitars, Les Paul style solos, and heavy drum beats turn into "country music". This sounds more like what we would have described as rock when I was growing up (or classic rock today). This might even be more straight forward rock than southern Lynyrd Skynyrd rock territory. The only countryish thing about it is the slight twang in the vocals and the substance of the lyrics.
