Not sure when we get to a point where liberals will be willing to look at what is being found here.
So a five-year contract given to a service that waters plants. That is over ten grand a year to water eight plants. Oddly, this seems like something that could be simply done by any office worker taking 10 minutes out of their day once or twice a week to get this done. As it stands, the plants all require signs that tells workers not to water the plants, because this is the job of a third-party contractor.
Now I can understand if you have a lawn service or gardening service, but a plant watering service? For 10K + a year, why not just replace them with plastic plants or some other form of decoration. Why even have them at all. Moreover, who does the owner of this particular service know to get this sort of gig?
The more we find, the worse this looks. While the majority of the country is upset with all of the waste DOGE is finding, there are still millions of Americans who seem more upset that we are actually looking for waste and fraud? What is it that they believe is being hidden that needs to continue to be funded? Why do they suddenly seem to believe that accountability is somehow unconstitutional or illegal? Well, most of this is tied to influencers fear mongering them into believing that cancelling contracts for plant watering is just going to lead to cuts to Social Security or Medicare. Because that is all you hear from the left. Let's ignore what DOGE is finding to cut and rather worry about what they are being told that DOGE "will" decide to cut.
