2026 may be affordability versus fraud.

My take is that you could largely solve both problems by solving one.

The Federal prosecutor who has been working on the Minnesota case for years with limited assistance and limited staff has suggested that as much as 50% of all welfare in Minnesota may be fraudulent. This same pattern is already being exposed here in Washington, and there will likely be many more states who are suffering from similar fraud. Elon Musk suggests that no less than 20% of all Federal spending is fraudulent and also suggests that it could very well be closer to 50%.

It doesn't take someone with a degree in math to understand how much more we could be getting from our Government (or how much less we could be paying in taxes) if we just eliminated fraud. In fact, anyone who is serious bout "affordability" but not serious about "fraud" is treading on delusional. The only excuse for not attempting to actually serious go after fraud is because the outcome of these investigations might be bad for certain politicians. The only excuse for denying that this fraud exists it to protect these same politicians. Those politicians who are making excuses and denying this are likely the ones that might suffer from the exposure.

It becomes an issue of trust. If Americans start to not trust that our politicians are serious about rooting out fraud, then why bother? All those memes about how people who work hard, could have just opened a fake daycare in Minnesota are amusing, but also quite sad in that they are true. You see the hard working people in America who have jobs, pay taxes, take care of themselves and are now being told that a good portion of the taxes they pay to the government is fraudulently going into other people's pockets. Their taxes are funding people who are not working hard as they do, but rather these people are just being dishonest and looting from these taxes. Let's be clear. They are not stealing from the state of Minnesota or the state of Washington or the federal government, they are stealing from the people who pay the taxes. When you pay too much at the grocery store or department store, just remember that someone else is getting all their groceries and necessities either for free or at a deep discount thanks to your tax dollars. Taking that into consideration can rearrange the narrative.

We are past the days when Democrats could cover up all of this by just screaming racism. People are not falling for that trick anymore. The fraud in Minnesota will be exposed one way or the other and nobody (other than the far far left) will see it as okay, because the people committing it are migrants.

The blue on blue is a nice change. Usually it’s the stupid party that immolates itself.

Besides fraud think of all the cushy jobs many federal workers have. As well as totally useless work. Waste at best.

Replying to

It's amazing at how many "NON-ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES" exist every time the government "shuts down."
